  14. The GLPK package is a set of routines written in ANSI C and organized
  15. in the form of a callable library. This package is intended for solving
  16. large-scale linear programming (LP), mixed integer linear programming
  17. (MIP), and other related problems.
  18. The GLPK package includes the following main components:
  19. * primal simplex method;
  20. * dual simplex method;
  21. * exact simplex method based on rational arithmetic;
  22. * primal-dual interior-point method;
  23. * branch-and-cut method;
  24. * application program interface (API);
  25. * GNU MathProg modeling language (a subset of AMPL);
  26. * GLPSOL (stand-alone LP/MIP solver).
